In addition to that thread, I’ve seen other useful posts on the matter, so you might want to search the forum also.
Since you’ve not got your mattress yet, there are a couple things I know to note:
- If you’re getting a spring mattres (it doesn’t sound like you are, but just in case) it needs to be compatible with an adjustable bed. Not all are.
- Adjustable beds can modify the terms of your mattress warranty. Using an adjustable bed with my own mattress, for instance, eliminates the (less valuable) year 11-20 pro-rated portion of the warranty.
- Adjustable beds often have a firm base, and therefore a mattress may feel firmer compared to any testing you do if you didn’t test it on a similar firm base.
I’ve read a few very positive things about L&P, that seem to make it stand out… But then, I’ve also read a few very positive reviews of other brands also
