The price you were quoted seems to be very high and is much higher than I have seen for typical courier deliveries.
There are some suggestions in post #5 here about compressing your layers that will be helpful so you aren’t paying for dimensional weight and I would also call the manufacturer of your mattress to ask for their suggestions as well.
