Dreamfoam Arctic Dreams vs Nest Love & Sleep

My brother has a Nest Love & Sleep Mattress Medium and I laid on it this weekend for a little while and really liked it.

In doing some research it looks like the Arctic Dreams 12" is basically the same thing. The Love & Sleep has one more layer (the 1" Smart Flow Air Flow Layer) but other than that I don’t see how I can justify spending double on the Love & Sleep vs the Arctic Dreams.

Does anyone have any additional input on the construction differences between the two?

Hi ItalianCJM,

Welcome to the Mattress Forum!

The Nest Bedding Love & Sleep is produced in two different levels of comfort (Medium and Luxury Firm), and the layers are:
Comfort Layers: Medium – 3" 2.8 lb. Energex polyfoam, 1" 2.0 lb convoluted polyfoam. Luxury Firm – 2" 2.8 lb Energex polyfoam.
Support Layers: Medium – 6" 1.8 lb polyfoam. Luxury Firm – 8" 1.8 lb. polyfoam.

The Dreamfoam Arctic Dreams 12" uses an 8.25" 1.5 lb polyfoam core that has some convoluting on top, on top of which is 3" of 3 lb Energex polyfoam, on top of which is .75" of a very plush polyfoam quilted to the covering.

The largest differences would be in the higher density polyfoam core used in the Love & Sleep, the overall amount of foam (depending upon the models compared), the ILDs of those foams, and the covers used.

Nothing can replace your own carful personal testing, and since you’ve had the chance to try out the Love & Sleep in person, that’s a great advantage. Both Nest Bedding and DreamFoam Bedding are members here, which means that I think highly of both of them, and both of these mattresses offer a very good value in the budget range. Both also have a good return policy, should your purchase not turn out as well as you had hoped.

I’ll be interested in learning what, if anything, you decide to purchase.

Found this post while trying to find reviews of Arctic Dreams. We’ve already got a memory foam from their sister company, Brooklyn, and wanted a mattress to be used by occasional guests for our spare room.
Couldn’t be happier. For what we paid - $250 - it’s a no brainer. Our firsts guests loved it and couldn’t believe the price. Quality seems v good/

Hi jamesbella,

Welcome to the Mattress Forum!

Congratulations on your new mattress! :cheer: You certainly chose a good quality/value product.

I’ll look forward to your comments on the Arctic Dreams once you’ve had a chance to have a few guests sleep upon it.
