These are a newer generation of polyfoam that are made in higher densities than most HR polyfoam (sometimes up to the 5 lb density range) and are specifically formulated to have more of the point elasticity (contouring) or some of the other properties of either memory foam or latex but are generally designed to have a lower resilience (springiness) than either latex or HR polyfoam.
