Hello,

I am a relative novice in this area and recently moved to a new apartment. I’m interested in investing in a high-quality mattress and am currently familiarizing myself with the material here to get a better understanding before making that purchase. However, I have a related area of concern that it seems a little harder to find information on (though perhaps I am simply not using the right search methods).

How do bed frames/box springs interact with mattress shopping? Are there certain types of bed frames that are better or worse with different types of mattresses? Are box springs generally recommended, or only with certain configurations, or what?

Help in this domain would be greatly appreciated.
