Hi, I’m wondering if Sleeping Organic is still a trusted member? I looked on that page but didn’t see them and have also searched to see and haven’t found anything about if they are or why they no longer are if that’s the case?

Yes, if you are looking at something on the same eco-scale as sleeping organic, take a look at @SuiteSleep. Everything they do is extremely eco friendly, to the max. Other TMs have mattresses and some accessories, @SuiteSleep is all about sustainable and eco friendly.

Oh I love SuiteSleep but it’s a little more than I was hoping to spend. But I did fall in love with one of their mattresses. I think it was the portfolio. I’m also looking at FloBeds as I like the idea of their V-Zone.

Sophie, I think we spoke back in May. Naturepedic is again on sale, and as I mentioned to you before, Healthy Choice are on sale and I think the Laurel, Meadow, and Sage may come in at your price range with the discount for President’s Day. All three are customizable. Both of those brands will do a layer swap after purchase if you need to tweak.

So nice to hear that you love the Suite Portfolio mattress. We take pride in our attention to detail for all of our products. I understand that we are a bit higher in price in the marketplace and we put a lot of thought into the details that set our design and construction apart from some of the others. We have been in the industry for over 20 years and learned a some lessons along the way.
There are a couple of things to consider when choosing a customizable layered system that we feel make the difference in longevity and price.
- Individually socked layers: by socking each layer, the latex is less likely to rub against each other and breakdown. When each layer is socked in organic cotton, it will add another layer of protection and cleanliness. Additionally, some manufacturers glue layers together, which eliminates the possibility of swapping layers out later if the comfort needs to be adjusted.
- Tight fitting covers are essential for a long lasting customizable mattress. Over time, covers tend to stretch out and a baggy cover will allow the latex to shift around.
- Organic cotton both inside and outside is the highest standard. Ensure that organic cotton both on the backside, inner flanging, and bottom.

Hi, yes we probably did speak in May. I have looked at a few of the mattresses on your website. Love the Obasan and Nautrepedic but of course more than I want to spend on a mattress. I will take another look at the Healthy Choice ones. Thank you for letting me know they are on sale again. If I have questions, I’ll let you know.

Yes, your mattresses are definitely what I would consider on the luxury side. And I am happy to see you are a trusted member now. I tried the Portfolio last year at a store I finally found with latex mattresses. It was amazing! You definitely take pride in your products, and I appreciate the information about how you cover the layers, and don’t glue the layers. That is definitely something I want in a mattress. Layers I can switch around or replace if need be because I have never slept a night on a latex mattress. So I was looking for a mattress with a layer swap comfort program or return policy (which I know is not something all companies do and I understand that). I don’t believe I could do this with the portfolio. I think the option was just buying a new layer but not positive. Can you tell me if this is the case? Or is there a layer swap policy?
I have been looking at latex and latex hybrids because I want something without all the not-so-great stuff in regular mattresses. My lungs will prefer that I have a feeling

Indeed we do have a layer exchange program. You can either purchase a new layer OR pay to ship the new layer to you and the old one back. I am now realizing that I need to add that to our FAQ on the website. We typically donate the layers that come back to us, which is not common for our beds.
Another unique option is to try our beds at one of our hotel partners. You may visit our hospitality page to see if one of them is close to you. We will give you a credit of up to $250 toward your stay at any of our hotel partners.
