I've tried every mattress out there...help!

Hi jwm23.

Welcome to our Mattress Forum!

Thanks for your appreciation. It is great to see that you narrowed your options down to two finalists. Hopefully your hard work will pay off with many good and restful nights.

While I can’t speak to whether which one of the two products you are considering would be the best “match” for you in all aspects of your value equation or in terms of comfort, firmness, and PPP … both mattresses are manufactured by two of our trusted members here who using high quality and durable materials, which means that I think very highly of them and that I believe that they compete well with the best in the industry.

You did not comment on the mattress thickness you are considering but based on the prices you mentioned I am guessing as you are looking at the 9" options. You are correct that SleepEZ has a higher level of customization and a modular design that allows not only for the side by side split for partners with different needs and preferences but also for customizing the type of latex (Blended Talalay and natural Dunlop) which will allow for further fine tuning of the overall feel and comfort, which may or may not be important to you.

Even though you are considering two products that are using good quality and durable materials the final decision may not be always easy to make as it usually involves a combination of objective, subjective and also intangible personal factors. I suggest that you have a good conversation with each of the manufacturers to rule out any factors you may have not taken into consideration in your research and see if a difference in price is justifiable for you based solely on your “personal value equation”. This along with the expertise and recommendations from the conversation with each of the manufacturers would most likely give you enough clues to chose between your two finalists and if all else is equal in what is important to you then the price wins.

Latex in general is the most durable of all the foam materials (polyfoam, memory foam, latex foam) and it would be reasonable to expect that ether of the mattresses you are considering it will last for many years. (In some cases even decades)

I’m looking forward to finding out what you end up deciding
