PLease help! we are in process of buying a Plush Bed, Botanical Bliss bed, 10 inch (one inch topper, three inch Talalay latex, 6 inches Dunlop). their foundation is slats 2 3/4 inch apart and framed. I was told by several other sales people at other stores that ideal is 2 inches apart for best support for a latex bed. they said anything less will fail. however, Plush Beds said they sell thousands of these foundations and they never cause the beds to fail. who is correct? what is required for a foundation for a latex bed? thanks

There is more information about the different types of foundations and support systems that are suitable for different types of mattresses in the foundation post here. Plushbeds is correct that 2 3/4" would be fine.
