I am considering the purchase of a 100% latex mattress and wanted to inquire into the recommended maintenance. On my old double sided spring mattress it was recommended that the mattress be flipped and rotated every few months. On my current one sided spring mattress it was recommended that it be rotated every few months. Do you also rotate a latex mattress, if so, how often? If you purchase a layered latex mattress with three or four layers, should you unzip the mattress and flip and rotate the top layer?

It’s always a good idea to rotate a one sided mattress or alternate between flipping and rotating a two sided mattress on a regular basis to help even out any softening or wear in a mattress over time and flipping and rotating individual layers in a component mattress (particularly the upper layers) can also make some difference as well.
