What is the best support for a Latex mattress?

The foundation thread here goes into much more detail about the different options that are suitable for a latex mattress.
The most common option would be a slatted wooden foundation with rigid 1x3 slats where the gaps between the slats are no more than 3" apart.
Depending on the design of your mattress … some other options that would also be suitable in different circumstances and with different goals in mind are foundations with flexible (rather than rigid) wooden slats (tension adjustable or otherwise), wire grid foundations (with enough wires and a good cover to prevent the wires from impressing into the latex), position adjustable beds, or even box springs which can allow for some extra give with thinner latex mattresses.
