As youâre already aware, Iâm not a physician (nor do I play one on the internet :lol: ), so youâd want to defer to a health care professional on that side of things. You could wash the cover of the pillow and let the foam air out a bit and see if that helps you out at all, but it could be that you are sensitive to something contained within the pillow. It could be the odor as well that is causing you an issue. Youâre not in direct contact with the latex, but washing the cover could assist with that just in case that was causing you an issue. I canât tell what is causing your issue, but it seems that you are definitely reacting to something, and even if washing the cover and airing out the foam reduced your symptoms, those potentially could be multiplied if you chose a complete latex mattress, which would be more time-consuming to air out. So without a more specific scientific/medical analysis, you may wish to avoid this type of product.
