Just wanted to say thanks to all for the informative site and recommendations. I just spoke with Neil at Spindle Mattress. What a refreshing change to talk to someone who really knows his stuff. Very honest (and simple) evaluation of the whole overwhelming subject of latex…I will be ordering a medium density topper to go over my high resiliency foam mattress that is tooooo firm!! I think we’re on the right track to a good night’s sleep.

How do you like the Spindle dunlop topper? I too bought a Spindle medium topper (synthetic) for my too firm mattress. I slept on it one night so far and I think I like sleeping directly on it much better than my all natural medium talalay 3", that I had on the top. This dunlop layer on the top, lets my body relax more, unlike the natural talalay which to me feels like I’m on jello and constantly moving.
Are you going to put anything on top of this topper, perhaps a pad, protector, etc…? I think I may purchase Sleepez 4 way stretch cover for my layers, now 4, 3". I don’t think I want to interfere with the feel of this topper.
