If they are transparent about the materials in their mattress they will provide you with the information listed in this article when you talk with them on the phone so you can compare the quality of the materials to the guidelines here. If you list the specifics on the forum I’d also be happy to make some comments about the quality/durability of the materials and help you identify any weak links in the mattress. If they can’t or won’t provide you with the information you need to make an informed and “educated” choice then I would pass them by.

If you aren’t certain whether any mattress is a suitable choice for you in terms of PPP (either from careful testing or a more detailed conversation on the phone) then I would make sure that you have good options available after a purchase to either exchange the mattress (or individual layers in some cases) and/or return the mattress for a refund just in case your choice doesn’t turn out as well as you hoped for.
