Mattress Locations near La Crosse, WI

Hello - new to the site. Looking for locations near the La Crosse, WI area. Have been exasperated by the local Sealy and Serta places. Did a forum search and didn’t find anything close to La Crosse. Thanks for your help! Scott

Hi ScottinLaCrosse,

The closest factory direct manufacturers to you are included in post #4 here.

Unfortunately the closest are a fair drive away so tomorrow I’ll do some online and phone research in the area and provide a list of any better possibilities that I come up with that are more local to you. This may take a good part of the day as I normally do this type of research in between other tasks.

There is also a list of some of the better online options in post #21 here if you are comfortable going in this direction. They are all members of this site and specialize in working with their customers online and on the phone. They are excellent sources for good quality and value but can also act as a value reference source for local purchases.

More to come tomorrow.

Hi ScottinLaCrosse,

I did some research in the La Crosse area and here are some of the retailers that I would focus on that have a higher likelihood of carrying better quality/value mattresses. I would suggest “interviewing” them as suggested in this article to make sure make sure they understand the importance of providing their customers (who know enough to ask) the information they need about the quality and density of the materials in their mattresses. I have also included the brands they carry that may have better value (again … depending on what is in them, local prices, and the knowledge and integrity of the retailer).

http://www.sleepconcepts.com/ La Crosse, WI. Carries Latexpedic latex mattresses which would be worth considering.

http://www.boyersfurniture.com/ La Crosse, WI. Carries mattresses made by WG & R which is a local manufacturer based in Green Bay. They told me they will find out any specs they don’t know from the factory. Memory foam and innerspring mattresses.

http://www.theboardstore.biz/ La Crosse, WI. Carries Restonic mattresses

https://www.homfurniture.com/ Onalaska, WI. They also carry WG&R mattresses and they appear to be knowledgeable about the materials inside them as well.

A little further away …

http://www.lansingfurniture.com/ Lansing, IA. Restonic (spring, gel, latex)

http://www.winonamall.com/stores/winona-mn/specialty-stores/mattresses-a-more.html Winona, MN Restonic and Englander.

http://www.mikestvandappliance.com/ Sparta, WI. Carry Symbol, Englander, Anatomic Global. They appear to be good people and seem knowledgeable about the industry.

Thank you very much for all of the information, you’ve been a great help. I’ve already been speaking with Ryan from Beloit Mattress and he’s been really helpful. I will check out these other places as well. Thanks again - Scott

Hi ScottinLaCrosse,

Beloit is a little further away from you than the two I mentioned but they are great and they have some of the best quality and value in the country. If you can make the longer trip there it would be well worth it IMO.
