Hi Tracey, I am not sure if you saw our response yesterday, so let me post it here for you as well and once again welcome you to Mattress Underground community. Also, want to add to what I wrote yesterday that we make one side of the Back Science mattress firmer than the other if needed, though I do think you would likely both meet well in the middle.

The Back Science series 3 is a medium overall feel and with it’s hybrid and more buoyant surface, it feel supple and is able to relieve pressure without feeling like you are sinking very much into the mattress or bottoming out. Whereas it the Aireloom M2 and M1 luxury firm/firm models have more plush surfaces that allow you to sink into the plush pillow-top surface, but still gives you great overall firmness and support structure underneath. Also, keep in mind that Back Science has a specialized patent pending Lumbar-Flex zoning that is unique and definitely will provide the necessary support to maintain the proper spinal alignment.
