Need opinions on Jamison LaJolla

Hello and thank you for all of this wonderful information, I am trying to apply this info to my shopping and to be honest… Feel overwhelmed . I went to a local retailer that was recommended in a post i found here near Cincinnat…Snuggy’s. they showed me the Jamsion Lajolla. Told me it was Talalay latex. It was comfortable and I liked it.
The layers are as follows
Comfort layer…quilted to 1 " super soft &1" hyper soft & safe slumber quilting fiber & polyester fiber
2" soft gl Talalay latex 21 old
Palladian microcoil
Mattress unit. 7" Marriott high resiliency ultra premium core

It’s king for around 2000. I feel like I am paying lots for foam and 2 inches of GL Talalay latex.
Is the 2 inches of quilting on top my weak link?

Thanks for any thoughts

Hi Janieky,

That would depend on the density of the quilting foam.

As you can see in the guidelines here … once you are at about 2" or more of unknown foam in the upper layers of a mattress then it’s important to find out the density of the foam layers to make sure there are no weak links. While it’s not generally a weak link and it’s almost certainly fine … I would also want to know the density of the foam in the base layer.
