Another question is, has anyone went with a mattress with a separate topper for the flexabilty of using the topper in their camper? We like the thought of a separate topper that we can throw on top of our cheap foam mattress while camping. This would allow us to still enjoy the comfort of latex without haveing to buy a whole new mattress for the camper?

My wife and I purchased a Sleep EZ 10,000 with a topper. You can read what fit our PPP here. We did not purchase it for use in a camper but I feel it simulates a pillow top better and we prefer that feel.

You would need to decide if a topper would work for your PPP as Phoenix describes it. Also just remember that a topper over the foam in the camper will feel different than it over another latex mattress.
