New Mattress Woes- too soft? too firm? looking for advice to remedy

Remedy… imo… for front sleeping would be a thinner transition support layer (or upper/lower body zoning), and a firmer support core… or start over. I’m puzzled as to why someone would send you more toppers… maybe that 32 ILD support core is firmer than it looks and worth keeping?

Just to clarify … IFD measurements for polyfoam are not the same as ILD measurements for latex and the two are not equivalent because of different methods of testing. 32 IFD in polyfoam would be the rough equivalent of a higher ILD with latex (probably in the range of 20% higher).
