Can you provide the ILD specs for the “new” active fusion PLB latex mattresses? Specifically the Nature, Nutrition and Beautiful.
I had heard the Nutrition has the firmer layer on top…i.e. 36 base…19 middle and 28 top…this is different from what I’ve been reading. Can you confirm?
Is the move to remove the bottom 1" stabilization layer a cost cutting measure or does it make a difference? If both are available, which should I purchase?
I have the layering of the new models but not the ILD’s. I also have my doubts that they will provide them because ILD has nothing to do with the quality of the material and they would have little reason to provide this information and lots of reasons not to (consumers wanting to duplicate the mattress at a lower price).
Yes. It has been commonly listed as the other way around but I have confirmed that the firmer is on top. The “old” specs are in this thread.
No, they have added an extra inch to the middle or upper layers so the amount of latex is the same. The new lineup is more expensive but has the Talalay GL (which used to be called Celsion) so if this is important to you then the new would be the way to go. If a lower cost without the Talalay GL is more important … then that is the way to go.
The new layering and some guesses (now confirmed) about the ILD’s based on the previous models are at the end of the post.
