Opinion on Miracle Sleep All Natural Talalay Latex Mattress

This seems to be a great deal for an all natural latex mattress. 6" sounds like it would be just enough.

I’m also looking at the natural Ultimate Dreams mattress on Amazon.

Also, are any of the mattresses on Brooklyn Bedding All Natural?? I don’t see those words specifically, but I do see the “Confidence in Textiles” logo.

Thanks!

Hi liveplaylove,

It certainly seems like good value to me as well … especially compared to their other page here which has the same mattress set at twice the price.

The mattresses from Brooklyn Bedding use blended Talalay which is a little more durable than the all natural … at least in lower ILD’s … and also a little less costly. A lot of sites also confuse what Latex international calls “natural” (which means blended talalay) with 'all natural" (which means no SBR is used in the latex so it uses 100% natural rubber) so you may want to check which they use for sure since Latex International has been “blurring the boundaries” between them and many retailers are just as confused about what they are selling as consumers because of this. Both blended talalay and all natural talalay are high quality materials though and are both Oeko-Tex certified.

Other than this … the only thing that I would make sure of is that you are OK in terms of PPP on a single 6" layer (there may be some similar mattresses you could test locally to make sure), that you have checked some of the alternatives available here which have similar amounts of latex and fairly similar prices but nicer unquilted covers, wool quilted covers, or other features or extras that may be important to you, and that the foundation they include is suitable for an all latex mattress as well (gaps less than 3" apart if it is slatted).
