Hi EZ4HZ,

Here is an alleged 100% natural talalay topper with a weird wavy pattern I’ve never seen before. Made in USA is the claim. Can anyone identify if these are true claims and who the is the manufacturer of a topper that looks like this?[/quote]
This almost certainly isn’t Talalay and is most likely either a synthetic/natural blend called Puralux made by Latexco or their molded 100% natural Dunlop called Naturalux. The surface modifications are similar to convoluted layers and can help create a softer sleeping surface and can also provide some additional airflow. You can see some comments about it in post #2 here and a forum search on eluxurysupply will also bring up more comments and feedback about them as well.
If it was Talalay (which I don’t believe) and it was made in the US then it would be made by Latex International/Talalay Global yes. Latexco also supplies Vita Talalay latex which they call Talalux and is made by Radium in Holland.
If it works well for you on your mattress in terms of PPP then it would “make sense” and if it doesn’t then it wouldn’t. Each person is different and the only way to know whether any topper will work well for you on any particular mattress is based on your own personal experience. You could also use it with either side up if you wanted either a softer or a firmer feel. 14 is typically in the ultra soft range and 25 is in the medium soft range but I would keep in mind that the type and blend of latex and the thickness of each layer (the 14 ILD and the 25 ILD) and any surface modifications will also affect its softness/firmness and how it feels and the ILD ratings for Dunlop won’t normally feel the same as another similar topper that uses a different type and blend of latex.
