Questions about shipping mattress to Canada

Dear all,

I want to buy a Sleepez Organic 13000 13ā€™ā€™ mattress at 2560. With the same configuration, it is just cheaper than the Canadian company I could find (I live in Toronto Canada). I wonder if any members are also from Canada and have any idea how long it would take to ship to Canada and how much duties and taxes will be charged? Thank you so much!

Hi ppperi,

There is no duty on mattresses that are imported into Canada from the US (if they are made in the US) but there will be taxes and brokerage/clearance charges when it crosses the border (unless you broker your own shipment). I believe that the HST in Ontario is 13%. The UPS brokerages charges are listed here and the Fedex clearance entry fees are listed here (Iā€™m not sure if SleepEZ ships to Canada using UPS or Fedex).

SleepEZ ships to Canada on a regular basis so they would probably have a good idea of the delivery times that their customers have experienced.
