Recommendations for Queen Beds For $1000 or less

Hi everyone!

I feel like I’ve been going down a crazy rabbit hole and people here seem to know what they’re talking about so I wanted to reach out to see if anyone had any advice.

I’m 5’11 190. Mainly sleep on my side but occasionally on my back. Have spent the last 24 hours or so looking through mattresses and was looking mainly at the heavily marketed online ones (Nectar, Dreamcloud etc) but figured there was better. I want to find something that is soft but not necessarily like I’m sinking. I was thinking maybe Helix Midnight? Any help would be appreciated!

P.S. While I’m willing to spend $1000 I’d love to spend less but still get a good night sleep.

Hey ntm91898.

Welcome to our Mattress Forum.

You may wish to look at the options available from @kensigmamattress - here’s their website.

You might like the Titan Luxe from Brooklyn Bedding if you like the Helix. This one is slightly out of your budget but close with the sales they’re running. That said, they have quite a few options that are within your budget.

Hey @ntm91898, totally get what you mean mattress shopping can really feel like falling down a rabbit hole these days.

I am about your size 6’0, 185 and also a side or back sleeper so I have been through this search recently myself. I actually tried the Helix Midnight and thought it was a solid option a great balance of plush comfort without the stuck in quicksand feeling. It contours nicely for side sleeping but has enough support for back sleeping too.

If you are open to other suggestions, you might also want to look at the **Brooklyn Bedding Signature Hybrid ** that is soft and medium. It is often on sale and can slide under $1000, especially with coupons. It has that soft-but-supportive vibe you are looking for, plus good cooling if you tend to sleep warm.

Also worth checking out: Nolah Original 10" really good pressure relief for side sleepers and surprisingly affordable when it is on promo.

My tip: try to buy directly from the brand websites they often have better discounts than Amazon plus a solid sleep trial in case it is not the right fit.

Hope this helps cut through the noise a bit. Good luck and happy mattress hunting

Let me know if you do like to adjust the tone more casual or more detailed.
