Sleep EZ 10000 Review - Install and 1 Week

Hi Jeffblue,

Thanks for the update and for sharing such detailed feedback and comments … and for the pictures as well

It’s great to see things are working out so well for you!

What you purchased was a mattress encasement rather than a mattress protector but if your goal was to have an encasement that protects you from allergies and bedbugs then this would be a good choice. The pore size is 1 micron which means that it will block even very small allergens and it also has a bed bug proof zipper and has been tested to prevent bed bugs from escaping so it would be a good choice for both of these. Because it’s a polyester microfiber that is very tightly woven, it is also water resistant (although I wouldn’t treat it as waterproof because liquids may still penetrate it with larger spills or over longer periods of time). It would probably be a little less water resistant than the membrane type encasements but would also be more breathable. If you are looking for allergy and bed bug protection, it isn’t having a negative effect on your comfort or sleeping temperature, and if the degree of water resistance is suitable for your needs or preferences, then it certainly seems like a good choice to me.
