The first place to start your research is the tutorial post here which has all the basic information, steps, and guidelines you will need to make the best possible choices. A couple of hours on your computer reading the basics before you begin testing mattresses will save you many hours of travel time and frustration in the stores and lead to much better choices for your specific needs and preferences.
