Spindle vs SleepEz price

How come the Spindle is half the price as SleepEz 10,000? They are both 10" or both have 3 - 3" layers of latex. Spindle is Dunlop while SleepEZ is talalay?

Hi jaybackintheday,

You may be making an apples to oranges comparison. Spindle has the option of either synthetic latex (which is a much lower cost material) or 100% natural Dunlop which is more costly and you may have been comparing the synthetic latex option (Note: They are now only selling 100% natural continuous pour Dunlop in their mattresses and toppers). The SleepEz mattress also uses a different type of 100% natural Dunlop (molded vs continuous pour) and have a wool quilted cover which is also a more costly component (which is also an option with Spindle as well but not part of the prices on their site).

Some of the other factors that can contribute to the price of a mattress at different manufacturers are in post #14 here.

Both of them are great quality and value choices and compete well with the best in the industry and when you are comparing final choices that are comparing “good vs good” then which one is best for you would depend on your conversations with each of them and the parts of your personal value equation that are most important for you.
