St. Dormeir Mattress Protector 16" or 24"

Hello,

I have the Dreamfoam Ultimate Dreams 13" gel memory foam mattress. Would the 16" or 24" St. Dormeir Mattress Protector pocket be best for the bed? I am wanting to purchase this protector in order to add a breathable layer to the mattress because I wake up drenched in sweat some mornings. Other than waking up drenched in sweat on some mornings, the ultimate dreams mattress has been a pleasant experience.

Are there any other protectors that are more breathable than the St. Dormeir Protector?

Based on a conversation I had with them (see post #2 here) … I would think that the 16" would probably be your best choice.

There is more about the pros and cons of different types of mattress protectors in post #89 here. The stretch knit cotton protectors would likely allow more airflow but with the wool the St Dormeir would likely be more temperature regulating.
