This is very similar to one of the platform base/bedframes that Dreamfoam sells here except it’s a little lower quality and cost and seems to have larger gaps between the wires. It should be fine but it’s always a good idea to check with the manufacturer of your mattress if you are in any doubt about a foundation or bedframe that they don’t supply themselves. These perform a dual function and replace a regular steel bedframe and foundation.

The thinner membrane types of protectors will generally have a minimal effect on the “feel” of a mattress for most people as long as they have the right pocket depth and aren’t too tight and create a “drum like” effect on top of the mattress. They are “semi breathable” so for a few people that are more sensitive they can have some effect on sleeping temperature but for most people they would be fine.
