What is the proper way to store a 100% Natural Talalay Topper?

Hi Phoenix,

I hope you are doing well.!

I no longer will be using my 3’ talalay topper for w while. (shocking) LOL It is in excellent condition, and I do not want it ruined. It is covered in a sewn cover. No zipper, so the latex cannot be removed.

Would standing it up, and rolled to the best of my ability be ok, or standing on its side against a wall? It’s so darn heavy and bulky, it takes up a lot of space. No garage storage as I imagine the heat would destroy it?

Thank you kindly Phoenix!

Hi sleepytime1,

There are some instructions from one of our members in post #5 here and there are also some instructions here and some videos here and here that will show you how to roll and vacuum compress latex.

Once you have rolled and compressed it you can store it in a box or in plastic in any position you wish.

Normal temperatures in a home would be fine but very high temperatures could break down the latex faster over a longer period of time than more normal temperatures.
