I’m not sure what size you are looking at or your budget is or what is “too high” for you but if your budget is on the low end of a good quality memory foam mattress it would be especially important IMO to make sure you don’t end up compromising quality by choosing a mattress where the quality of the materials is so low (generally less than 4 lb density memory foam or less than a 1.8 lb polyfoam support layer depending on your body type) that any saving in cost are more than offset by lowered quality, durability, and performance.
There is some good value in adjustable beds here and I usually use them as a reference point with adjustable beds because they carry all of the more common choices.
