I recently went to Sleep Works on Long Island, NY to try out their beds. I first tried their Pure Latex Bliss beds, and I wasn’t happy with any of them. The salesman then suggested that I try the Aireloom Belmont Plush bed, which is made of Visco memory foam. I found this bed to be plush and supportive, and I liked it a lot. The cost was around $3200. Since I was unable to get the specs of the bed (I called Aireloom and they didn’t know), I’m not sure if it’s a quality bed. If anybody knows anything about this particular bed, please let me know.

If you aren’t able to find out the specs of a mattress it’s usually a safe working assumption that they are either lower quality (which they don’t want to disclose) or not particularly good value compared to other mattresses that use the same or similar materials in lower price ranges (and they don’t want you to be able to make quality/durability comparisons).
As you can see they are #14 on the list of larger manufacturers here and it’s unlikely that you will be able to find out the specifics you would need to make an informed choice.
A forum search on Aireloom (you can just click this) will bring up more comments about them but they boil down to a consistent pattern of lack of disclosure and “risky” materials in the comfort layers and I would suggest avoiding them. Regardless of the “showroom feel” of a mattress … if it only maintains the comfort and support which is the reason you purchased it in the first place for a relatively short period of time because it uses lower quality materials then it would have little “value” to most people. Don’t forget that the loss of comfort and/or support isn’t covered by a warranty because it’s not considered to be a manufacturing defect unless there are visible impressions that are deeper than the warranty exclusions (which will only happen in a small percentage of cases) … even if you can no longer sleep on the mattress and need to replace it.
