Aireloom Conforming mattress Splendid model

looking for more info the Splendid. approx $3061 for set. Law tag says core 67% polyurethane - soy-based, then layer 8% viscofoam, then 25% latex (1.5" talalay). The promo piece doesn’t give specifics - quilted layer of quilting foams & soft foams, stretch tricot allows padding layers to provide comfort, multiple layers of firm pressure relieving Talalay, experience the conforming comfort of visco memory foam, soy based support core, fully upholstered stabilizer base foundation constructed with lumber from sustainable sources.

does anyone have experience with mattress or have more info on materials or can assess value of purchase - wasn’t looking to spend as much - but if really good value - then maybe. am comparing to entirely different type of mattress Evo Biomedical gel. thanks for the feedback

Hi cbcb,

I would completely pass by every mattress where the retailer can’t or won’t provide you with the specific details and layering of the mattress.

In the case of all the Airelooms … once you have the layering (if they provide it for you) … you will quickly find that there is much better value available in mattresses that use similar materials. Aireloom is a brand that tends to sell on a 'story" that isn’t justified based on the materials that are in the mattress.

No mattress that contains 67% polyfoam should be selling for these prices.

They are really nice on the outside and have a great “story” attached to them (and a very “expensive” story at that) … unfortunately what is on the inside doesn’t justify the prices they are asking.

If someone is trying to sell you one of these … IMO you are in the wrong store or at the very least they should provide you with the information that you need before spending that kind of money for a mattress that doesn’t even use particularly high quality materials inside the cover.
