We tried out this mattress at a local furniture store (Star Furniture) and found it to be amazing. The store offers a 120 day trial with exchange but they only carry three brands - Aireloom, a Tempurpedic line and Kingsdown.
I’m not interested in Kingsdown or Tempurpedics, so if we end up needing an exchange we’d be stuck with Aireloom or a store credit for future furniture purchase - which is fine by us except for the fact that we may not be in TX forever.
So the practical question is whether we’ll find a replacement Aireloom if we don’t like this one after 3-4 months of trial.
I’m hoping that experts here might chime in on the possibility of finding suitable replacement within the Aireloom lines (we tried out both a firmer and plusher versions), and also general comments on this model (not M2 but M2+) that may helps us decide.
I have cervical arthritis that causes referred pain in neck and shoulders and struggle to fine tune the level of support in mattresses. Sometimes what seems plush and perfect turns out to be too plush, and sometimes what seems just firm enough turns out to be too firm. I realize matching of pillows is part of the trick here, but its nevertheless been a struggle finding the right mattress over the years -and I’m hoping that this is going be the mattress that turns out to be just right for me.
