Alternative to SleepEz latex mattress

We have (and love) and 13" sleep ez talalay and dunlop king mattress. We need another king mattress for a 2nd home. I am hopeful that there is a mattress out there that has a similar feel but at a lower cost as we won’t be sleeping on it that often.

Info:
King size bed
Me: 5’3, 125 lbs, side sleeper
Him: 5’9, 165 lbs, side sleeper

Thank you!

Hi theriviera.

Welcome to our Mattress Forum.

Glad to hear you love your Sleep EZ.

All mattresses differ in feel slightly since they tend to have different ticking (covers/encasements), coils, etc. A slight difference between two mattresses can sometimes result in quite a variance in feel. Also, since I can’t feel what you feel on a mattress, I can’t say for sure x y or z mattress will be similar BUT you can assume that certain materials in the same firmness will have some sort of resemblance in terms of sleep experience.

You may like the mattresses from Nest Bedding, and Arizona Premium as a starting point.

Thank you Nikki - i realize I didn’t even say what we like about our bed!

We have the 13". It’s soft talalay topper in it’s own cover, over a soft-medium-firm dunlop latex. We did this as our first bed from them was soft-medium-firm all dunlop and it was too firm for me on my side.

Hi theriviera.

That sounds like a good bed! I think you’ll enjoy the customizable aspect of an Arizona Premium mattress if that’s something you really like about your Sleep EZ!
