Hi, Could someone give me some tips? I am an elderly woman- I do have two sons- but will I need three men to move this and any special equipment? Freight says 258 lb queen size box with curbside delivery. Curbside we will have about 150 ft to move it into the condo blding and then up six stairs. Thanks!

Congratulations on your recent L&P adjustable frame purchase! Would you be able to share which model you purchased?
These adjustable bases tend to average between 100 and 200 lbs, so 258 is “above average” if you will. For example, here is an informational video by Jeff at Beducation unboxing and assembling the Raven adjustable frame by Leggett and Platt. This may give you an idea of the kind of packaging you will be dealing with. He assembles it entirely on his own, but doesn’t move it from the unboxing location.
I think depending on where your bedroom is located in your house will also factor into how many people will be needed to move it.

Hi, Nikki- the freight company indicated that weight- maybe with box and all. I purchased an S cape model. My son said he feels two people should be ok, hope so!
