Are Talatech ILD and Talalux IFD equivalent measures?

Hi,
I’m looking at 3" talalay latex from various vendors, but they all come down to Latex Intl vs Latexco. Do you happen to know if ILD for Latex International is equivalent to IFD for Latexco? Explicitly, is a 28 ILD from Latex Intl the same measure as a 28 IFD from Latexco?

Hi scottinsd,

Latex International and Radium (which is supplied by Latexco) both measure ILD in the same way and using the same thickness core so they would be close equivalents yes (within the range of ILD variance that is the norm for Talalay).

I guess there are two answers to your question …

Either

A. Spending thousands of hours in research and talking to people who know a lot more than I do (see post #4 here).
