Arizona Visco Elastic provider?

Hello forum experts; I need an HD 6+ pound VE provider here in Arizona.

My back, shoulders and neck are all pretty beat up and I don’t want surgery, so I have been assembling sleeping surfaces of various foam types and densities for the past 25 years.

I can’t use just one surface (the buy once, cry once option) because my sleeping surface needs modification throughout the year, depending on the level of stupidity I’ve engaged in any given day, and as a result, need differing levels of support throughout the year.

As you might imagine, regularly swapping layers is tough on the layers and they wear out sooner than would otherwise be the case.

Unfortunately, my local VE supplier is no longer in business, so I need another source of 6lb+ VE foam here in the valley.

Building my own custom sleep surfaces is extremely important to my ability to get to sleep and stay asleep and unfortunately, with my sleep surfaces all nearing the end of their useful lives, I’m only getting about 3.5 hours of sleep per evening, which is more exhausting than I think most people may imagine.

I’ve still got good latex base layers, but the top VE is worn out.

If you’re aware of any suppliers, please point me in the direction of a local VE vendor here in AZ.

Many thanks in advance TMU members!

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about your sleep struggles sounds like you have been through quite a bit in your quest for the perfect surface. I know how important the right VE layer can be, especially when you are dealing with pain and constantly changing support needs.

For high density 6 lb+ viscoelastic foam here in Arizona, I do recommend checking out Foam Mart in Phoenix they sometimes carry premium VE foam and can special order it if not in stock. Another solid option is Reilly Foam, which operates regionally and might have Arizona based distributors or shipping options. Give them a call and let them know your density and firmness requirements.

Also, some local upholstery supply shops carry high-quality VE foam and are surprisingly helpful—try Upholstery Supply USA or Mesa Sales in the East Valley. They may not list everything online but can usually get what you need if you ask.

Best of luck with rebuilding your setup hope you get back to a full night is sleep soon.
