I’ve been a long time reader and just wanted to post to say thanks to phoenix and all the posters. We have decided on buying a BB Cool Luxe. After a long search, reading, and store shopping this mattress appears to be what we are looking for. I’ll update when it arrives as i would love to contribute to this forum!

Just an Update: I received the mattress on Sat. Fedex slip my delivery so the foundation is coming Tuesday. We could not wait to try our new mattress so we used our existing foundation for the few days. I watched the BB unboxing video before my own unboxing. it went exactly as expected. We pulled the rolled mattress out of the box and onto the foundation. then open from the bottom. it unrolled and inflated to size within a few minutes. There was a slight gassing smell. i turned on the ceiling fan and left the door open for an hour and it was just about gone.
I let the mattress just sit for a few hours before putting on the mattress cover(encasement). at this point me and my wife laid on the bed for the first time. it felt just as we expected from reading this forum. a tad(tiny) bit firmer them the temper cloud luxe. We have slept on it two night now and so far we love it. no back pain for me anymore and my wife sleeps all night where she had been up for weeks by 4am.
I am excited to see how it opens up over the next month and with the proper foundation. I will update next week.
again thanks to all the posters and admin for all the great information and recommendations in what was a very complicated mattress hunt. Not only do i thing we will sleep much better but you all saved me a ton of cash!
