hey folks,
I have been having trouble sleeping properly for a while now and thought maybe it’s time to change my mattress. my current one is super old and probably doing more harm than good
For the last few days I been reading reviews, checking blogs, watching yt reviews, and going through reddit threads… felt like I got even more confused lol. But after going through most of the top review sites and user comments, 2 mattresses keep showing up a lot and people seem to like them:
Both look good tbh. one looks better for support and other more comfy… i just want something that helps me sleep well and not wake up with back or neck pain anymore.
anyone here using one of these? or maybe can share some personal experience? really don’t wanna waste money again and get stuck with something i regret later
both got tons of reviews and features seem nice… just need a little help to decide. thanks a ton in advance

Hey Lucy, good on you for doing the research before buying. A mattress can make a big difference, especially if you’re dealing with back or neck pain.
The two you mentioned, the DreamCloud Premier 13" and the LUCID 10", are popular because they’re affordable and heavily marketed. That said, both are more budget-level mattresses. DreamCloud is listed as made in the USA, but that usually means it’s just assembled here with materials sourced overseas. The foam quality and density may not be the best if you’re looking for long-term comfort and support.
If you’re open to other options, there are some better choices in a similar price range from brands like Brooklyn Bedding and Glacier Sleep. These are made entirely in the U.S. with higher quality, higher density foams that usually hold up better over time and offer better support.
If you’re trying to stay within the LUCID price range, a solid option to consider is the Flexispot U3 mattress and the engineered sleep Today’s Mattress. The Flexispot has a similar hybrid construction to the DreamCloud, but it’s made in the USA and offers great value for the price. In fact, it can easily rival the DreamCloud in performance.
That said, comfort is always subjective, what feels good to one person might not work for someone else.
The challenge is finding the right balance between comfort, durability, and long-term support. It’s not always easy, but it’s worth taking the time to get it right.
I would love to hear your thoughts.
