I just ordered the Brooklyn BME and the Reverie 5D and eagerly await their arrival. Once they arrive I will report on the customer service, delivery as well as the products. Thanks to The Mattress Underground and Phoenix for all the information and help. Hopefully it all works out as planned.
I ordered the BME (medium) bed as a split cal king from Brooklyn online and the Rev 5D from DealBeds.com. DealBeds had the best price I could find (member mentioned the name here) and they matched a slightly lower price I found on their Amazon site. I called and the sales rep was very helpful taking care of the slight difference.
Thanks for letting us know what you ended up buying … and congratulations on your new mattress and adjustable bed as well

Preliminary report.
BME mattress ordered 9/13 delivered friday 9/16. Quicker than I expected. I hauled them upstairs and left in plastic packaging but outside of boxes.
We were waiting for the Reverie 5d foundation to show up. Well it was delivered today. Only slight problem that I had ordered in home delivery and removal but the guys didn't have removal on the order. Quick call by my wife to the shipping co. for dealbeds and it was resolved. They use accufrate to ship across US to another local delivery provider apparently. Little hard to track but in the end worked fine.
I will report on the mattress and foundation after first nights sleep. So far happy with the service. I was not there in person with setup but I noticed in the texted pic from my wife that they put on the center brackets of the split king. I know you are supposed to leave them off to have beds close together. Hopefully don't have to order those other brackets. We'll see and I'll report back in case others are in the process of making a decision about these products.
Thanks for the update. It’s good to hear that you were able to resolve the issue with the removal of your old mattress with your “last mile” shipper.
If you are using the Reverie adjustable with a split king mattress then you will likely need to order the special split king retainer bar kit (see post #8 and onwards here).
Initial thoughts on purchase. Bed looks great and foundation looks better than expected. The grey color works well and once with a head board will look even better.
Mattress: The BME felt great when first opened and jumped on to try. Two nights of sleep now and working great so far. The medium sleeps a little more firm than I expected based on my initial laying on the bed. Once sleeping the full night I realized it is a bit more firm than prior mattress. I like the feel of latex and thought that I would because I don’t like to sink into the bed. The quilted top is nice and soft but the support layers underneath keep it firm enough. So far it fits the bill and I would recommend this mattress to friends if they like a feel of the “bouncy” latex. The split king is not problem and even when I move to wife’s side or in the middle not really an issue at all.
Reverie Foundation: this really is nice. I haven’t picked out a favorite position but if I want to read/watch tv sure is easy do without all that pillow manipulation normally needed. Very quiet motors and push button remote easy to use. Not all the bells and whistles of some units but I really just wanted something that looked nice and worked well. It has vibrating massage but wasn’t important to me. The wall hugger feature or whatever it is called works well enough for me. I know this is an issue with many but I could get to my night stand just fine.
Overall I am very happy with my purchase and think I found a great value with these two options. After a few weeks on the bed I will post my feelings on the mattress.
