Brooklyn Bedding Plant Tour, WOW!

I came across a CNET BB factory tour video and I’m really impressed on how far they have come. Video Having worked, now retired, at Bayer Material Science as a research chemist in polyurethanes I was surprised to see that they produce their own foam; and that they manufacture mattresses for Helix, Birch, Bear, Nolah, and Leesa. 3zbrands
For me though I’m not ready to commit to an all pu foam mattress. I’m still on the hunt for an all latex, or maybe a hybrid, foam mattresss.

You realize that most of the TM’s here are latex and latex hybrid mattress manufacturers. Additionally, Birch, one of 3z brands is a latex hybrid, and a nice one at that. So you really do a plethora of options.
We have some of the best mattress experts in the industry to guide you, who are willing to discuss with you over the phone or via private messaging.
You are in very good hands.

Yes, I have been looking at theTM’s latex mattresses. One is high up on my list.

I strongly recommend going DIY layers for a latex mattress. With the help of the latex experts you can get exactly the support and comfort you need. A bit more work, but also quite cost-effective.

Yes, agree. I have been looking mostly at the 3 layer latex mattresses. The mattress will be for my wife who is 5’6" but due to a bout with cancer weighs 110 lbs. Several mattress retailers I have contacted recommend a soft, medium, firm combination.
Nothing wrong with a 6" core. I have been sleeping on a 10" Pure Latex Bliss Nature for 10 years.Still feels great to me, no impressions. I’m 5’ 10" 190 lbs. She finds it though to be too firm for her.
PLB’s listed Nature specs:
2" ActiveFusion Fast Natural Talalay 21 ILD
2" Natural Talalay Pressure Relief 28 ILD
6" Natural Talalay Latex Support Core 36 ILD
I thought it would be easier if my wife found the soft, medium, firm combo too soft to switch layers and put the medium on top.
