Building a 6” Mattress - Dunlop Firm

I’ve had an IKEA Sultan Edsele (discontinued) since 2008 and it’s been great. But it has started developing dips—its cover is still good, so I’m just looking to replace its 6” core with a Dunlop Firm. Either a solid 6” or two 3” toppers.

I’ve looked at quite a few vendors:

Arizona Premium Mattress (but they cut their 6” core down the middle and that seams :upside_down_face: like a problem.

Sleep On Latex, 30 day return policy and free returns, but I did see some complaints about their toppers failing quickly.

DIY Mattress, great price and shipping.

Any one have long term (years) experiences with 3” toppers?

They cut their cores in half for ease of movement when picking it up since latex is very heavy. I don’t think it would cause a problem

Thanks I’ll keep that in mind about the seam. And oh yeah it’s heavy! I’ve moved 3 times with my current mattress and thats been an adventure all by itself.

Do you have any personal experience with APM?

Does anyone know if Mountain Top Foam is selling direct to the public?
