buying new mattress for child/guest bed

Hello,

I am considering buying a new mattress from the Quality Sleep Store in Lagrange, IL. My five year old son sleeps on it but is also acts as a guest bedroom. We have lots of guests. My parents have been complaining for years about the mattress, it is very old and hard. I am considering the Everlast natural with the removable latex pillowtop in soft. It felt really nice in the store. I like that it is mostly natural products and I like supporting a local business. What other questions should I be asking about this mattress? Thanks.

Hi KSchicago,

I think the Everlast could make a good choice because you could use it without the topper for your son (assuming it is firm enough because children typically need firmer mattresses for better support) and then you would have the option to use the topper for your guests who preferred it.

Since I would be very comfortable with the quality and value of any mattress they make and sell … I think my questions would revolve more around the dual use of your mattress so you could use their experience and guidance to help you decide which combination and comfort choice would be most suitable for both your son and most suitable ā€œon averageā€ for the widest range of people when you used it as a guest bed.

I’m looking forward to hearing about what you end up deciding
