Ordered 3" king medium density dunlop from a major supplier (SOL, Niles, IL). Upon unwrapping and placing on bed noticed did not seem flat. Middle section (head to toe) appears noticeably raised (thicker/higher/denser). Gave it some days to rest/relax but hump down the middle still there.
As it is a king it was folded over in half (left to right) then rolled and vacuum packed. Suspect it has been in the box for months this way as they get their latex from Sri Lanka, and Sri Lanka was likely the one that vacuum packed it. Or maybe mine was laying odd at the Sri Lanka factory (or Niles, IL) for a while underneath a stack of 50 or something before they vacuum packed.
Any Ideas on what can cause this on a new piece of latex. Can being folded in half and vacuum packed for months create this issue.
