Is it possible to build a custom mattress by ordering products directly from Talalay Global, or would I have to go through a company that sources their latex foam from Talalay Global? If the latter, what are some companies you would recommend?
I tried KTT Enterprises in January and they said they werenât offering that anymore. Iâm looking for something specific because my old mattress, which was perfect for me, was discontinued.
I remember seeing that Talalay Global has some type of online store front. Talalay Global I was researching one time and the addresses came up the same and it appeared that these two were somehow connected.
Having said that, the one of best ways to get a custom mattress built with Talalay Global products is through trusted member Custom Sleep Technology. They are literally in the same town. If you have never seen their website, take a peek. Their customization and mattress body profiling matching are just awesome. I like going there occasionally just because it is so cool. CST Performance Bob, the owner is a cool guy and has answered many a question that I like to throw at him. He has been in the mattress latex industry for a quite a while and I would bet he can create anything you throw at him.

I agree with @Maverick & his excellent suggestion; while talalayglobal.com has a lot of information, Iâm not sure about their direct-to-consumer sales. I wasnât able to get through to the customer service in Shelton CT, today but I will update this thread once I do. Talalay Globalâs old store front Pure Talalay Bliss is now called Talalay Living. Thereâs also a video on the Talalay Global manufacturing process here which may be of interest.
One consideration would be that many manufacturers. especially those in the DIY realm, can purchase their Talalay latex rubber from Talalay Global at a significant wholesale discount as they tend to purchase often and in bulk, which may be cost prohibitive for the consumer. âRawâ latex also would not potentially have many of the âfinishing touchesâ that retailers and manufacturers who source their latex from them can provide.
@CST and others of the Trusted Members can provide you with Talalay layers manufactured to your specific needs, and if you are doing a DIY build, this can take away another potential for frustration!
