Start on back and normally wake up on my side
I also toss and turn a lot during the night
I got a standard sleep ez mattress with three 3" layers, and have tried soft/medium/firm for a while, then medium/medium/firm, and now medium/firm/firm for a bit and none of them feel comfortable.
I always wake up with lower back pain, and even when I lie on my side I feel tension in my side, only like I have to prop myself up.
I had an old Nest ASH in medium that was comfortable, however I created a large divot/crease in the center.
Welcome to The Mattress Underground ! Thanks for your question.
Thanks for your support of TMU’s trusted member program ! I am sorry to hear that you are having difficulty with adjusting the comfort level of your Sleep EZ mattress. Can you give a few more details to help with troubleshooting? How long have you had the mattress and what size is it? What type foundation are you using and how old is it? Are you able to use a smart phone to have someone take a snap of you while in your different sleeping positions to see how your body is interacting with the mattress? Have you reached out to Sleep EZ via their “Ask an Expert Forum” to get their ideas? Looking forward to learning more about your situation and thanks for stopping by .
Queen mattress, have had it for just over 2 months.
Just using the floor for now, am in process of getting a stronger bed frame.
I have, the alignment for soft/medium/firm, medium/medium/firm looked fine to me
Yes I have been in contact with SleepEZ about it, they have suggested different layer combinations to try: soft/medium/firm, medium/medium/firm, and medium/firm/firm
Actually should I should clarify on the floor part - it is just on a boxspring, and the boxspring is on the floor. I don’t have any frame or foundation yet. Not sure if that matters but wanted to be accurate.
What latex did you get in the SleepEZ bed? Talalay, Dunlop or combo of both?
If it was Talalay then you may need to look at zoning for the latex if you have exhausted all the possible layer configurations. Also make sure to have someone take a photo at bed level and verify the alignment of your spine. If the bed is doing it’s job well then you should be able to draw a straight line from your tailbone to the base of your skull.
