Hello,

I’m looking into getting a custom latex mattress.
The people I spoke with said that they can use Talaly or Dunlop, both from Carpenter Foam Supplier.

Is Carpenter Foam Supplier material good?

Hi yoshi,

Carpenter is one of the largest (if not the largest) American manufacturer of polyfoam and memory foam. Like other foam manufacturers … they make foam in any quality/density that a mattress manufacturer may choose or specify (from low quality to high quality). Also like most other American foam manufacturers … most of their foams are CertiPur certified*. They don’t make latex but I believe that they do offer latex that comes from other suppliers. I don’t know which manufacturers make the latex they supply but the simplest way to know the suitability and quality of the latex would be to ask whether it’s Talalay or Dunlop and the blend of synthetic (SBR) and natural latex (NR) in the product they have available.
