I’ve mentioned this in passing in some recent posts (including post #6 here) about the differences between organic latex, natural latex, blended latex, and synthetic latex and the different levels of organic certifications that are possible but I thought I’d share some information about the first certified organic latex cores available in the market.
They are certified through the recently introduced GOLS (Golbal Organic Latex Standard) which is similar to GOTS (Global organic Textiles Standard) as you can see on the Control Union World Group list of standards here.
The attached document has more information for those of you whose “value equation” includes the importance of using certified organic latex in your mattress.
