Hello again , i’m back with another quick question.
Each layer on my current mattress contains blended Talalay from Latex International/Talalay Global.
The tag on each layer starts with SMT60 and then the ILD of the layer.
What I am curious about is what the 100% natural Talalay latex code starts with, does anyone out here know?

For 100% natural Talalay, the prefixes are different. Instead of SMT60, they’ve historically used codes like NAT or N1/N2/N3/N4/N5 to indicate firmness ranges (with ILDs attached). For example:
N1 ~ very soft (around 14 ILD)
N2 ~ soft/medium (around 20 ILD)
N3 ~ medium/firm (around 25 ILD)
N4 ~ firm (around 30–35 ILD)
N5 ~ extra firm (40+ ILD)
Depending on the production run, you might also see codes beginning with SMP or SMT65 for some 100% natural Talalay layers, but the most common convention is the N1–N5 shorthand system instead of the SMT60 + ILD tags you’re seeing on blended.

How does a 4 year old thread pop up? Is the OP still around? Anyway as we discussed in this thread there is no latex foam, Dunlop or Talalay, that is 100% natural latex. They are manufactured from 100% natural latex.
What’s important is that consumers when purchasing latex foam products should make sure that they are GOLS certified.
Sometimes when computer work is being done in the background, a Trusted Member is removed or something else triggers a hit on the post, it will cause that post to appear as if there is some action on it and move it as if it is new.
It is frustrating sometimes, as I dont always look at the date and will answer a 5 year old question, that I know in the end the person is likely to no longer need an answer, and I spend a good amount of time, wasted time, doing so.
