Hi everyone,
I’m currently in the market for my first latex mattress and have been doing a lot of research over the past few weeks. One brand that keeps coming up is PlushBeds [ Organic Latex Mattress - The Botanical Bliss | PlushBeds ]. They seem to offer natural latex mattresses with good certifications and positive reviews, but I’d love to hear some real-world experiences before making such a big purchase.
Since I’m completely new to latex beds, I have a few questions:
- How’s the quality and comfort of your PlushBeds mattress?
- Does it offer good support and pressure relief over time?
- How well does it hold up in terms of durability and sagging?
- Any issues with off-gassing, smell, or break-in period?
- Are you happy with your purchase or do you wish you had chosen another brand?
Basically, I’m just looking for honest feedback—good or bad—from anyone who’s owned a PlushBeds latex mattress. Would really appreciate your insight!
Thanks so much in advance!

Hi Judy, and welcome to the Mattress Underground!
While I don’t own a Plush Bed mattress, I do have some knowledge of latex mattresses. To answer some of your questions:
Latex is usually thought of as high-quality, comfortable and durable over time.
Because Plush Beds uses organic latex, there should not be off-gassing and any smell would probably be minimal.
With latex, you typically do have a break-in period. I know ours is 30 days, but don’t know what theirs is.
I sleep on a latex bed and it is quite comfortable (4.5 years out from purchase).
I hope that is helpful. Good luck with your search!

Hello Judy,
While I have not purchased a PlushBed, it is positioned in the marketplace as an affordable organic latex mattress that is made with some organic and some non-organic materials. Any mattress that is all latex, is going to be far superior in durability and longevity to a traditional coil and foam mattress.
Latex is one of the most durable options available that almost never sag and lasts up to 4 times longer than a traditional mattress. We recommend looking at options that allow you customize the layers inside. This is ideal so that you can replace only the layer that needs it rather than the whole mattress.
The Plushbeds Botanical Bliss also features Talalay latex on the top layers. This is great if you want a plush mattress with a very soft top layer. Other manufacturers offer both Dunlop and Talalay option on the top layer that gives customers more options in the event the mattress is too soft.
Good Luck on your journey to better sleep!
